Basically, food is very essential for all living this in this world. I would like to say that I’m a Foodie, would love to eat and cook different dishes all the time. Especially during some Indian festivals, I cook a lot of traditional food and make new of Indian sweets as well. There are large number of foods around the world.

German old fashion Food

Back in the 40s and 50s, when my German mother-in-law (aka “Oma”) was a young girl in Northern German, rouladen was her family’s traditional Christmas dinner. 

Greek Style Roasted Potatoes

In the original version, a lot of water is used and the potatoes don’t brown at all. When we’re talking about roasted potatoes, I want mine soft, creamy, and at least a tiny bit browned. These aren’t as crispy as French fries or my spicy potato wedges, but they are a little crisp.

Crisp on the outside and with a creamy center, these lemony Greek style roasted potatoes are a great change of pace!

Ingredients

  • 600 grams (1 pound 5 ounces) potatoes
  • 1/4 cup (60 milliliters) water
  • 1/4 cup (60 milliliters) lemon juice
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons chicken bouillon (for a vegan version, use vegan vegetable bouillon)
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme (or 2 tablespoons fresh)
  • 2 teaspoons dried rosemary (or 2 tablespoons fresh)

Coconut Lime Macaroons

It has been these vegan coconut macaroons a few months ago and it looks so excited.

I’ve been searching for a dish like this on a no-bake version but it’s still not ready so I figured I might as well post these baked macaroons.

Lime not your thing at all? Lemon juice and zest works great in place of the lime in these citrusy macaroons! The filling really does taste like regular key lime pie! One of the best dishes and made up of chocolate and drizzle so the output is more addictive dishes.
